Connections

Our second St Mungo’s Connections evening is happening on Thursday 29th October where we are looking forward to exploring the following topics:

Working from home - with Derek Thomson

We will be exploring how we can make working from home effective, healthy and sustainable. This will be an interactive discussion rather than a lecture - an opportunity to share challenges, ideas and solutions. It will be led by Derek Thomson who first gained experience of working from home back in 2007.

Let’s talk about race - with Ollie Clegg, Reginald Agnu, Adrian & Tara Devlin

...the conversation continues. After previous events with the Agu family and the Devlins we bring them together to carry on talking about this most important of topics.

We will listen in as they join with Ollie to discuss their understanding and experience of race in Scotland. They’ll unpack some of the words and phrases being used around this subject, and consider what it means to make progress both as individuals and as a church.

We’ll meet over Zoom at 8pm and after a time of worship together, will break out into our two groups to talk, connect, explore and learn together for around an hour. We’ll come back together at the end of the evening to sum up and say goodbye around 9.15pm.

There’s no limit on numbers for this event but you need to sign up to receive the Zoom invitation. All church members will receive an invitation email for this event the week prior to the event, please click on its link to sign up.

If you have any questions please email andrea.brewster@stmungos.org

We look forward to welcoming you and connecting with you!
