Gold is a social group for members of St Mungo’s (and their friends) who are aged 60 and over.   The aim of the group is to strengthen each member’s support network, both within the church and the wider community.

The meetings have included talks on a variety of subjects including members work in Antarctica, beekeeping and mission work. There are also activities such as beetle drives or similar, cinema afternoons and our annual outside trips - in 2019 we went on the Orient Express afternoon tea experience.

There is a lot of fun, laughter, often a sing along and always tea or coffee with home baking.

We meet in the church on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 2pm -3.30pm, and everyone is welcome.

If you require transport, this too can be arranged.

Great time for meeting others, very caring group.
