One of the things we love at St Mungo’s is when our former youth head out on mission to be stretched and used by God. Kara is one of those who finished school and headed out on the ship Logos Hope to serve communities and follow in her brother’s footsteps. Here’s Kara’s latest news update:

Back in June we were able to respond to the emergency which hit DR Congo in the shape of a volcanic eruption which devastated the city of Goma and surrounding areas which displaced people from their homes and many lives were lost. We donated £5,000 to this emergency response.

We recently heard news coming out of Eswatini regarding civil unrest focussing on anti-monarchy protests. These protests have turned vicious at times and brought fear and uncertainty to many and the ministries of CMS have not

In 2017 we took our first youth group to Eswatini [formerly Swaziland] and then again in 2019 we had the privilege of taking another youth group out.

Liam Packwood was one of our youth and at the end of S6, headed off for 18 months to work and serve on Logos Hope,
