On Thursday 8 September 2022, members of the Balerno and Livingston congregations gathered together with Isaac’s family to attend his induction service and formally taking up the role of Associate Rector at St Mungo’s Church. It was a special evening of celebration in St Mary’s Cathedral and an opportunity for many of the church family to gather together to welcome Isaac into his new role which he took up in August. The formal service contained liturgy, hymns, sermon by Ollie, communion and a number of special gifts presented to Isaac. We were delighted to finish the celebration with refreshments and an opportunity for the church family to chat over tea and coffee. We thank everyone who took part in the preparation of the service, those who served on the night and the Diocese for the use of the Cathedral.
