On Wednesday 23 June 2021, a number of the congregation gathered together with Ollie’s family and friends to attend his institution service and see him formally being “installed” as the Rector of St Mungo’s Church. It was a special evening of celebration in St Mary’s Cathedral and an opportunity for many of the church family to gather together in person for what felt like a regular Sunday service with liturgy; hymns; the preaching of the word by the Bishop; worship; communion and some very special gifts presented to Ollie. We thank everyone who took part in the preparation of the service, to enable it to happen in person and to those who served on the night.

Ollie - we know it’s not been a normal start to leading a church, but St Mungo’s are so grateful and thankful for the way you have embraced the role in the first 4 months and led us so well through a difficult season. We are excited to see what God will do in you and through you as you lead St Mungo’s forward in the coming year and beyond.
