St Mungo’s Connections Evenings Spring term 2021

Hopefully you have been able to join with at least one of our Connections zoom calls during our autumn term. It’s been wonderful to see so many faces on the screen and to have an opportunity to connect with people we may not otherwise see at the moment.

The good news is that as a church we will continue with Connections in spring 2021, meeting fortnightly on Zoom on non housegroup Thursdays.

As before, you can join the zoom call any time from 7.45pm for some chat and often some polls. We’ll then start the formal part of the evening at 8pm with prayer, a time of worship and exploring our topic for the evening. We’ll aim to finish each discussion by 9.15pm and new for this term, you can either leave the call at this point or hang on for a further 10-15 minutes of informal chat and catching up with each other in breakout rooms.

The other big change for this term is we’ll only explore one topic each evening. Several people have said they found it hard to choose between topics and it gives all of us the chance to hear about as many as we would like to.

As previously, before each event, you’ll get a message via ChurchSuite giving you more information about the evening and details of how to sign up and get the Zoom invitation.

If you need help to join ChurchSuite or to update your preferences to allow you to get the emails, contact enquiries@stmungos.org and if you have any general questions, please contact andrea.brewster@stmungos.org

The programme for Spring 2021 is below. We hope you’ll be able to join with at least one of these Connections evenings over the coming months and enjoy some time with others in our church family.
