The Gateway Project

Smiley hello from the Sustainability Focus Group :-)

This week the Sustainability Focus Group met for a second time to discuss the possible Sustainability Framework for The Gateway Project. The meeting was led by Kasia (far left of photo) and Sandy (far right of photo) from Max Fordham, the project Sustainability, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineers. Another valuable meeting so thank you Ruth, Graham, Sue, Cameron, Tara and (not in photo) David and Gill.

Topographical survey completed

A topographical survey has been completed this week on the Woodcroft field. This will provide detailed mapping of Woodcroft field and it’s natural and man-made features. The survey measures elevation, boundaries and levels of the land and includes physical features such as trees, roads and buildings. Man-made features are also surveyed include fences and drainage systems.

The topographical survey will be used by architects, engineers and contractors ensuring that informed decisions can be made during the design and construction stages of The Gateway Project.

Covering The Gateway Project in prayer

The Gateway Project is an opportunity for our church to grow and flourish. In early October, over 60 people attended the project’s first corporate prayer meeting and it was an exciting time of prayer, listening and hearing from God. The Project Team continues to receive words and pictures from people as they have fasted and prayed, such an encouragement to everyone involved in moving the project forward. Our next corporate prayer event for The Gateway Project is Monday 3rd February so save the date.
