We are planning to hold an evening of individual, private prayer at the church building (Ladycroft) Balerno on Friday 21 August.
This is an opportunity to spend time in God’s presence in the special atmosphere of our church building. As well as being a time for quiet private prayer, this is an opportunity to “soak", to contemplate, to read your bible and meditate on God’s word, to journal or perhaps to draw or sketch.
As this will be our first physical gathering since “Lockdown” back in mid-March, and with significant practical constraints arising from the need to ensure the event is safe and compliant with Government guidance, we are starting cautiously with only a fixed number of pre-booked spaces available.
The evening itself will run in the form of four sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, starting at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm. Whilst we won’t be permitted to sing we do hope to have Worship Leaders singing over us.
This event is now fully booked and we can’t be sure if or when we might be able to run another any time soon. Instead, why not set time aside that evening anyway and have your own “at home” soaking session. We will be offering some prayer suggestions for everyone to use in the notices next week.
