In person Sunday morning church services: 24 October 10.30am at St Margaret’s for the Livingston congregation. We will use a QR code to comply with Test and Protect so pre-booking is not required. Please arrive between 10 and 10.15 in order to allow the auditorium to fill safely, young people to be dropped off at groups and everyone to check in. The Balerno congregation will meet at Heriot Watt University on 31 October. Services are live streamed.
0-18 Sunday mornings: Pre-school and Primary groups will run during the live services (24 October is for the Livingston congregation). You will be able to drop off and register your young person from 10.15. Mighty Mungos continues online for those unable to attend in person.
Balerno Youth Sunday Morning Groups:
Sunday 24 October, Balerno Youth will be back on Zoom, whilst the Livingston Sunday morning service is happening. The session will begin at 10.50am until 11.45am. Zoom code has been emailed to parents.
Sunday 31 October, Balerno Youth will meet in person at Heriot Watt University; doors open from 10.15am and youth will be in for worship at the start of the service and then heading to their groups. All in S1-S6 are welcome.
Friday Night Youth 29 Oct: 7.30pm - 9.00pm; continuing to run some events indoors and also outdoors on the 2G pitch at Balerno High School. Drop off and collection at the Church Building, Ladycroft, Balerno. All S1-S6 welcome. Pre-booking not required. More details will be posted on the Youth Instagram and Community Facebook page during the week. Please remind your young person to bring a face covering.
Worship Night – next one is planned for 6.30pm for an hour on Sunday 31 October at Heriot Watt.
Services during November: We will continue to have alternate morning services through November. Details for services in December will follow in due course.
Midweek Word Live: Every Wednesday morning at 8.30am for half an hour, available on the St Mungo’s Community Facebook page and the St Mungo’s Balerno & Livingston YouTube channel. Do join us for a Word from the Word!
Minis restarts this week! This group is for little ones and their carers – mums, dads, grannies etc and runs on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings in the church building. Do tell people in the community and invite them to book in through www.stmungos.org/minis. Pray for the team working hard to make this happen and for families to be blessed by attending.
