Institution Service for Ollie on evening of Wednesday 23 June at St Mary’s Cathedral, Palmerston Place, Edinburgh. This is an opportunity for us as a church to gather together and welcome Ollie as our Rector. More details of how to book will follow and it will also be live streamed.

Comfort Congo Emergency Response: This week we have donated £5,000 towards the emergency response in DR Congo in support of our mission partner, Comfort International. There is a great need in the aftermath of the recent volcanic eruption near the city of Goma, with one of the key concerns being the outbreak of water borne diseases resulting from the rupture of the water infrastructure due to the volcanic activity. These funds will help to contribute towards supporting a local health post with medicines. Please continue to pray for Comfort International and their partners, Comfort Congo and they respond to this volatile and challenging situation.

Connections evening, 7.45 for 8pm Thursday 10 June. For our next Connections evening on Zoom we are looking forward to an evening hosted by David Brown and different contributors exploring the subject of ‘God and Work’. At the end of the evening there’ll also be break out rooms for 10-15 minutes for those who want to stay on for some social chat. Please sign up in advance to receive the Zoom invitation (details in the email sent to church members last week) or contact andrea.brewster@stmungos.org with any questions.
