Thanks to your great generosity, we are in a position to maintain and, in some instances, increase our giving to the various individuals and organisations supported by our “mission” fund. Our aim remains to give 15% of our total income to this fund.

The Vestry has recently approved the following for the next 12 months:

· To increase the allocation to full mission partners by £360 (3%) to £13,440. (These are Bethany Christian Trust, Operation Mobilisation, Tearfund, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Scripture Union Scotland, Challenge Ministries E-Swatini, Holy Trinity Wester Hailes and Comfort International.)

· To increase the allocation to “mission donations” by £50 (3%) to £1,900. (These are Alpha Scotland, Evangelical Alliance Scotland, TryPraying and The Turning.)

· To maintain current giving levels for our mission projects “Just Earth” (£5,000) and the Holy Trinity Wester Hailes Food Bank (£6,000).

· To commit £10,000 to the Bethany Winter Care Shelter.

· To commit £5,000 to Starfish Asia.

· To allocate £10,000 for appeals/one-off gifts.

· To continue to support Kara Packwood on OM’s Logos Hope (until Dec ‘21).

· To give a further £1,000 to the Life Center Church in Beirut.

· To purchase 10 Christmas Hampers (@£40 each) for refugees and asylum seekers in the City of Edinburgh.
