July is a month of rest from St Mungo’s events – so Midweek live, Connections, Abide, Zoom prayer ministry, housegroup and prayer cells, 0-18 activities, and in person services have all paused. Sunday’s online services at 10.30 and Mighty Mungos will continue as usual.

Wellness Centre is now closed until Monday 16 August. Give thanks for all the counsellors and team who have continued to support people online and in person, and pray they have a good break this summer.

Autumn Term plans. Check out the website for the plans we hope to put in place for the autumn. https://stmungos.org/news/summer

Life Center Church Beirut Gift: St Mungo’s has given another £1,000 gift to Pastor Said of Life Center Church in Beirut in support of their significant work of outreach and humanitarian activities despite very challenging circumstances and economic hardship. The Church continues to press into education support for children; has started a new youth ministry; offering health care services to the marginalised; food box distribution to 600 families and discipling Syrian refugees. As basic needs become harder to access for the people of Beirut; Life Center Church continues to be a beacon of hope.

Give thanks for all the amazing teams at St Mungo’s and a great year of online and in person events. Pray for a refreshing rest for each of them in July.

Prayers

Pray for our young people as they return to full time school this week. Some will be keen to be back, some will be worried about being up to date with schoolwork, some will worry about renewing friendships. They will also have to do twice weekly covid test and wear masks all day. Let's uphold them in prayer as they transition back.

Pray for making and keeping connections with our littlest of children and their families and our Climbers team as they lead a live online event with our 3+4-year-olds.
